From thomascapnd at srt.com Tue Feb 9 12:33:00 2010 From: thomascapnd at srt.com (thomascapnd@srt.com) Date: Tue, 9 Feb 2010 12:33:00 -0600 Subject: [Minot-general] Meeting Inquiry Message-ID: <20100209183412.C5A9E76E4A3@hilda.srt.com> Members of Magic City Composite Squadron: I am sending this email to all members of the squadron in hopes of regenerating our unit's meeting/event attendance. While speaking to a couple members who were here long before me, I learned that when the meeting time was changed, the squadron's activity began to dwindle. I would like feedback from everybody as to whether or not a different meeting night would help. We are changing our meeting times to 1830 till 2030 at the request of the AFRC but I would like to find out if a different night altogether would help more personnel to make it. Please feel free to respond either by email, in person, or by phone (701)340-2084. We are expecting to be called upon to help with a flood fight again this spring. We are sorely in need of mission staff. One of the building blocks that cannot be completed online is the ICS 300 class. It's a two-day program and it's a course required for any of the Emergency Services mission staff positions. If you are otherwise qualified on mission staff or are training for one or more mission staff positions, please consider taking this class in Fargo. It is seldom offered on the weekend. It will be offered on two consecutive Saturdays in March. If you are only available one of the two Saturdays, I plan to offer a make up class if necessary, so if you cannot attend on one of the two Saturdays, let me know that as well. Please email or call with your intention to attend the class. Mission staff needing to complete ICS 300 ICS 300 weekend class offering in Fargo Date: March 13 and 20 Time: 8 AM to 5 PM Location: Fargo ND046 CAP squadron office Class size is limited There may be a small materials charge, but I am in the process of getting approval for sponsorship that will pay for materials. To reserve a space in the class, please contact me at steinej at fargo.k12.nd.us or by phone at 701-261-7480. Provide your name and unit. -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed...
