If persons other than CAP members wish to help, they must have their own transportation. Here?s the plan: The times are estimates and may change somewhat. The CAP Van will be leaving the GA Terminal 9:10am Arrive in Mandan at ND Veterans Cemetery 9:15am WAA Briefing at Maintenance shed (Eat snacks) 10:15am Road Guards sent out (parking will begin to be crowded around 10:30am) 11:00am Formal Ceremony takes place 12:00 eat some lunch and get to work 12:30- 2:30 Wreath Laying 3:00pm load CAP van, depart ND Vet Cemetery 3:15pm stop at McDonalds, Bismarck for snack 3:45pm depart Bismarck 5:45pm arrive GA terminal Minot ****ALL CAP MEMBERS WILL FILL OUT AN EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION CARD (Cadets must have parent sign!!) CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS MUST HAVE!!!!! The temp will be 5 degrees with some snow Keep reading..... Senior members may wear CAP polo and grey slacks with long underwear etc. Cadet UNIFORM is BDU?S with the following modifications The color black is preferable but NOT necessary! ? Due to the wonderful winter wonderland weather of North Dakota for the next two days, the Magic City Composite Squadron CAP will not be travelling to Mandan, ND for the Wreaths Across America Ceremony and wreath-laying scheduled for tomorrow, Dec 11th, 2010. There is an opportunity for us to participate, still. The ND Veterans Cemetery will need the wreaths removed. I think, this is scheduled for Jan 27. This is a tedious job that has no glory and few volunteers show up. Let's do our best to help the Bismarck CAP members with this job in January.
