My father, who lives with me, has early dementia, complicated with sundowners syndrome. When the sun goes down, he tends to become really confused and sometimes unruly. I think it best to not put him in strange situations that may exacerbate the condition. Please let everyone know that my wife, Barbara, and I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. WILLIAM E. KAY, Lt. HOWEVER, I would like for the cadets ?to complete the following items: 1 - Log in to your e-services account. ?? ?a) You all have an account. ?If you cannot log in of have forgotten the password, there are instructions on the main page to fix that problem. (See attachment: passwordhelp.jpg) ????b)? Once you have logged in, you need to?familiarize yourself with all the different sections?you have access to. ? ??? c) Top center/right of the page after you've logged in...you DID get logged in, right?...you will see a link named?"Review/Edit My Info"? it will take you to another list of links. Go through "General", "Address", and "Contact" and make sure all the information contained there is correct.? If it isn't, make it correct. ??? d) Once all those are finished, click "e-services" at the top right edge of the page to go back to the main menu.? Once there, down the left side you will find a link called " ?My Operations Qualifications/National Reports", then at the top of the next page select "Emergency Services".? The next page will show your 101 Card.? Review it.?? From here you can also review your SQTRs for the various CAP qualifications.? Select "SQTR Worksheet" and you can select whatever qual you wish to view.? Review these to refresh yourself on what you are qualified on and what you have left to finish any remaining unfinished quals. 2 - Take inventory on all your uniform/equipment items.? Write them down somewhere you will remember.? Put it on a computer if you like, but make sure it's somewhere handy and you won't lose it. 3 - Once all these items are complete, e-mail me back and tell me if you had any problems that I can help with. And hey, Seniors?...maybe ya'll could do this too...just because. Jeffery A.
