CAP members,

 

The Magic City Composite Squadron will hold its monthly general membership
meeting today, Thursday, June 7th, at the Minot Public Library.  The meeting
will start at 7 p.m. in the South Meeting Room and will feature a disaster
preparedness presentation from the American Red Cross.  All members and
guests are invited to attend!

Subject: [Minot-general] Work on CAP Hanger

Since Chad will have the airplane in Nebraska from June 14th through the
29th, I thought it might be a good time to work on the hanger.  What I would
like to do is to lubricate all of the cable pulleys, dig out a little dirt
from under the front of the door (so that the door will close all the way),
and do a general clean-up of the hanger.

 

If anyone would like to help, meet me at the hanger at 10am on Saturday,
June 23rd.  It should only take us a couple of hours to do what needs to be
done.  If you can help, please bring a shovel and a sledge hammer (if you
have one).  We will need to bust up a little concrete.  If you have an
extension ladder and a way to transport it, that would be helpful as well.

 

Mike Smith:  Can we use the City's front-end loader and some re-cycled
asphalt?
